Movie Review: Green Mile
The story takes place in the 1930s on death row. Warden Paul Edgecombe meets a new inmate — the enormous, yet incredibly kind and enigmatic John Coffey convicted of murdering two young girls. Paul soon discovers that John possesses supernatural powers to heal illnesses and sense the pain of others. This leads him to question the justice of his sentence and ponder the true nature of evil and miracles. The film explores themes of compassion, injustice, miracles, and redemption, leaving a powerful emotional impact.
